Woman's Recovery Home

House of Hope is a six month substance abuse program that was opened in 2007 by Kim Kilpatrick.  Kim is a recovering addict with 20 years clean. She has a BA in Psychology from Troy University, is a certified Addiction Counselor, Anger Management & Peer Support Specialist. She realized early in recovery the need for long term treatment program for woman and started The House of Hope on a wing and a prayer, and let God provide the way.

The House of Hope is a 501-(c)3 non-profit organization. The Mission objective for The House of Hope is to provide a safe and supportive environment to aid women fighting addictions. We are dedicated to healing and provide the tools and resources needed to develop healthy, productive women of integrity that can lead joyful and meaningful lives.
The House of Hope believes that working a 12 step program can guide people to a spiritual and mental healing which will promote a purposeful and fulfilling life free from addiction.
The House of Hope works closely with the court systems, families and loved ones, various other agencies to enhance collaboration and community involvement in each client's recovery.
Each client will be required to gain employment, attend recovery meetings, use a sponsor, fulfill financial obligations, and comply with rules and laws.

Our program offers 6-month residential program, and upon graduation, clients have the option of staying for the 3/4 program for an additional 3 to 6 months.
Clients must be detoxed and preferably completed an inpatient treatment program.  Clients must be physically able to work.

Fees and Program Details image
There is a non-refundable entrance fee of $400.

Weekly fee of $180 starting third week of residency. This includes transportation, room and board, meals, and program fees. Drug testing is an additional $30.

Each client will be expected to complete daily chores and weekly cleaning responsibilities, maintain a clean and tidy room, and prepare and cook meals. Client's will all work a first shift job and attend 12 step meetings, along with other support and educational groups.

Children can come for visitation on each Sunday from 1:30-3:30. Clients will also receive a bi-weekly, weekend pass if compliant with program requirements. Clients can send and receive mail at The House of Hope address provided.

3/4 residents must first complete the 6 month program at House of Hope.
